BIO: Jenny Marie
Jenny Marie is a Pacific Northwest photographer who has a passion for capturing moments of natural beauty in landscapes and skyscapes. Her work began with coastlines, deserts, and storm-lit horizons, where she focused on the subtle ways light, texture, and atmosphere shape the natural world.
Over time, Jenny Marie’s practice expanded to include the human form, exploring how bodies inhabit, echo, and at times interrupt a landscape. She approaches the figure not as something posed, but as another topography — a living contour in dialogue with stone, wind, and sky.
Her recent work brings these elements together, balancing the strength and permanence of place with the vulnerability and presence of the body. Guided by careful framing, sensitivity to scale and shadow, and a collaborative ethic, Jennifer creates images that resist spectacle in favor of resonance. Her photographs invite viewers to see nature and human form as parallel expressions of presence, each revealing and reshaping the other.
